A "free" magazine?

Campbell Storey, Conservative Parliamentary Spokesman for Wansbeck, has questioned why Northumberland Council is spending valuable money on the 'Northumberland News' "free" magazine. Writing to the Morpeth Herald in November, Campbell said: "I would urge people to write to their councillors and ask why the council is printing this magazine at all. Northumberland is in the grip of a dire recession and it shows some very strange priorities at County Hall to be spending council taxpayers' money on this".
